 Covance and the University of Leeds have formed a partnership to train future leaders in the biopharmaceutical industry. Together we have developed an MSc in Biopharmaceutical Development that studies the full process of biopharmaceutical drug discovery and development through to the commercial launch of products. It is the only course in the UK focussed on this sector and will provide a springboard for capable, life science graduates wanting to start a career in this industry. This unique professional training programme is 20 months in duration. The first seven months will be taught modules exploring each aspect the pathway and is followed by a salaried, one year placement in a biopharmaceutical company where you will focus on at least one aspect of drug discovery/development and conduct a research project.

Translating research into production
